The concept of Finishing School is introduced by KSWDC to modify the skills in such a way that it   becomes a source of income. or make the trainee employable and capable of meeting the demands of modern world.
Traditional occupational skills like Handloom Weaving and Designing is benefitting many women in this industry.  The training programme and selection of beneficiaries is jointly done by KSWDC and Apparel Training & Design Centre.  Duration of the course is 45 days.
