We believe that the position of women has become prominent at present than ever before. Keeping this in mind KSWDC has launched various programmes.

In this Modernised and Tech-Savy world, KSWDC is tuning up women to meet the advancing tracks of the world. And the recent MoU signed between KSWDC and NIIT is one such step towards the manifestation of its vision. The tie-up will facilitate empowerment in terms of technology and non-technology skills.

An agreement to this effect was signed on 31 Jan 2011 between Mr. PTM Sunish, Managing Director KSWDC and Mr. Manish Mohan, Senior Vice- President, NIIT in the presence of Mrs. P.K. Sreemathi, Minister for Health & Social Welfare.

Details of training Programme

I. Course Name: Post Graduate DIPLOMA in Banking Operation (PGDBO).

 a.    Objective of the Programme:
          Objective of the PGDBO program is to build a pool of banking professionals in India, who can sustain the growing momentum of the sector and help it achieve new levels of profitability and customer responsiveness.

  b.    Content of the Programme

       TERM I

           •    Fundamentals of Finance.
           •    Overview of Banking Professional Skills.
           •    Financial Products and Services.

       TERM II

           •    Overview of Insurance.
           •    Overview of Retail Banking.
           •    Mutual Fund Advising.
           •    Selling Skills & Techniques.

      TERM III

          •    Retail Banking
          •    Application Software in Banking Operations.

 c.    Duration of Programme and Schedule:

        The Post Graduate in Banking Operation is a six months program with three months of full          time class work followed by three months of internship session. Program is conducted in full time              mode (5 hrs/ day). It is also executed in Fast track mode (8 hrs/ day).

 d.    Placement
       100% Placement Assurance with “ Provisional Appointment letter at the time of enrolment”.

The objective of course is to train unemployed BPL women of Kerala. NIIT will conduct the course at various locations across Kerala.

 b.    Programme Content :

           •    Fundamentals of Customer Services.
           •    Communication Skills.
           •    Interview Skills.

 c.    Programme Duration :

          •    120 hours (3 months)

 d.    Programme Schedule :

          •    2 hrs a day, 5 days a week

 e.    Eligibility Criteria :      

          •    Successfully completed 10th Standard

 f.    Potential Job Avenue

          •    Credit Card DSAs, Mobile Service Providers, Club membership sales, Direct Sales, Retail Chains, In-Store Sales, Automobile Sales, Insurance Sales, Telesales, Consultants, Agricultural product selling.

III. Course Name: Certificate Program in bpo(CPBPO)

 a.    Objective of the Programme:

The objective of course is to train unemployed BPL women of Kerala. NIIT will conduct the course at various locations across Kerala.

 b.    Programme Content :

           •    Communication Skills.
           •    Call Centre Training.
           •    Interview Skills.

 c.    Programme Duration :

          •    120 hours (3 months)

 d.    Programme Schedule :

          •    2 hrs a day, 5 days a week

 e.    Eligibility Criteria :

IV. Course Name: Certificate Program FOR HARDWARE  MAINTAINENCE(CPPHM)

The objective of course is to train unemployed BPL women of Kerala. NIIT will conduct the course at various locations across Kerala.

           •    Advanced PC Technologies.
           •    Interview Skills.

 c.    Programme Duration :

          •    120 hours (3 months)

 d.    Programme Schedule :

          •    2 hrs a day, 5 days a week

          •    Successfully completed 10th Standard

 f.    Potential Job Avenue

          •    Hardware sellers, ISPs, Technical Helpdesks, Datacentres, Small Scale IT company.
