Unemployed - educated youth is the major concern of India especially for our 100% literate state.  Many girls chose to go for vocational training immediately after high school, to get employed.  But most of them are not able to cope up with the requirements of the market.  KSWDC realise that an intervention is needed here. 

I.  Details of the Training Programme

a.    Objective : Skill development & upgradation of educated unemployed women and make them                           suitable for self/wage employment.
b.    Faculty: Faculty for this course will be chosen from Academic Institutions and various departments.
c.    Duration: 45 days
d.    Centre : Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam & Kozhikode
e.    Programme conducted by:  KSWDC in association with KITCO

 II.  Target Group

Unemployed women belonging to BPL families.  Should have passed ITC/ ITI/ VHSE courses.

 III.  Course Content

 1.    Entrepreneurship Development Training: (5 days)
   •    Achievement motivation training
   •    Customer relationship
   •    Personality Development & Communication Skills
   •    Basic Accountancy
   •    Best Business Practices
 2.    Skill Development & Practical Classes on following: (40 days)
   •    Basic Electronics
   •    Familiarisation of tools & equipment
   •    Familiarisation on software in mobile phone
   •    Familiarisation on Modern Technology of Mobile phone
   •    Personal safety measures
   •    Repairing of household electronic gadgets
